Hello Neighbors,
Yesterday, Manor Pool got tarped over and all its plumbing turned off. Closing chores are almost complete, and plans for next season are already underway!
Here’s to all our volunteers this season – THANK YOU! So much of what makes Manor Pool special happens because neighbors are willing to pitch in and help make things happen.
2026 brought us a shiny new backflow system, a contract with Bug Zero, a new volunteer cupboard, new loungers, and, just recently, new skimmer baskets. We also had a great Dance Party and Movie Night! We’d love to keep that momentum going, so please keep your ideas, recommendations, and suggestions coming!
As we start thinking about next summer, we’d also love to see some new faces get involved with the pool committee. No experience is necessary, as all six committee members are a team and group support is the pride of the pool. If you’re interested, please reach out and we’d be happy to talk with you about what’s involved.
We will have openings for President and Treasurer, as well as a Member-at-Large position. If you’ve ever thought about getting more involved in the neighborhood, this is a great opportunity to jump in and help shape what Manor Pool looks like next summer. Please think about your summer schedule and email us if you’d like to learn more about any of the positions. We’re happy to answer questions and explain the responsibilities before you make any commitment.
